We’ve had teams playing in the competition since the beginning with the Jets being one of them, starting back in 2006/7. The team manager, Leanne started the team with her daughter when she was in year 9 and started the team by playing with both her daughters’ friends and her own friends. Although the teams have changed over time like most teams have, a lot of the girls have been playing together for years. Leanne’s daughter even plays rugby 15s for Australia now, something her mother is sure her touch time helped her achieve and develop her skills.
